Air Max 97 OA Neon Seoul

Following in the footsteps of Sean Wotherspoon, graphic designer Gwang Shin became the mastermind behind one of the six winning designs of April 2018s On-Air Contest. Gwang Shin's South Korean inspired Air Max 97 OA Neon Seoul drops in April 2019 a year on from his big win, which has become a tradition for the competition just as Wotherspoon's Air Max 97/1 had the previous year. Heavily influenced by his country's national flag the Neon Seoul comes with red, blue, and white tones implemented on the signature wavy upper of the Air Max 97 model. While the rest of the silhouette is painted in a stealthy black which gives contrast to the conservative flecks of colour which include a silver Swoosh shooting down the lateral side panel for that unmistakably Nike aesthetic. This shoe is complete with the abundance of 3M reflective material which is present throughout designed to pay homage to the metropolis' colourful night scenes for which this brilliant design is based.
